My Goldfish
I've always loved my pet gold fish because they are very quiet and peaceful. Unlike many other pets out there, a pet goldfish does not need to be walked, or bathed. Just remember to clean it's water and feed it ocasionally. My fish tank at home is about 140cm meters wide and 60cm in width. There are about 25 gold fish in the tank at the moment. As you can see at the top of this page, it displays 4 of my goldfish I took while I cleaned my tank.
When you go to a pet store, you must be careful of what type of pullet you buy for your fish because they can vary. For me I use flaked shrimp pullets because it helps clean the tank as well as keeping the fish healthy. Sometimes if you feed your fish too much you will start to see that their bellies are extra large. Because they do not know they are full and will continue eating, it is very dangerous because the fish cannot move freely in the water and other fish may try to attack the fish. Recently I had a fish that died because it was too full and the other bigger fish attacked it and ate it's tail. So I learned from my mistake and next time I will remember not to feed them too much.
If you are a very quiet person I would advise you to try getting a goldfish as your pet, you can go to a local pet store and purchase a goldfish, food pullets, and a fish bowl. Do not get a fish too big because it needs to move around to get it's exercise! If you have a small gold fish cleaning it's bowl will be very easy for you, just take the fish out of the tank and put it into another bowl with water than pour the dirty water out of the fish bowl and fill the bowl with fresh cold water. As I have a big tank I cannot just pour the water out, I have to drain the water out with a hose and fill it back up with my garden hose. It's a complicated process so I think getting a small bowl would be better and easier for cleaning!
